In-home Respite - Community Access - ALSP / Post School / Options plus
PROGRAM
Community Access Program
This program primarily supports the individual to access social or recreational
opportunities that he/she identifies with. This support is provided one
on one. Any costs of the outing are to be met by the individual/carer, eg.
Admission fees, including those of the support worker, unless otherwise
negotiated with the Service Manager.
The aim of this program is to assist the individual to participate in their
LOCAL community. Therefore CODA enforces a mileage limit up to 30klm, provided
by support workers. Any mileage over and above this, the family may be invoiced
for. Any services that may exceed this limit need to be authorised by the
Coordinator / Service Manager before the shift is to occur.
A consumer may receive a set amount of hours weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
Service is available between 6am - 8pm, including weekends. Please note
however, CODA is unable to offer CAS support on public holidays.
